Mariana Serranová's curatorial intention for Kurzor Gallery:

The Seasons exhibition series contrasts the poetics of the seasons and the effects of globalization, especially climate change. It links different artistic approaches in terms of symbolism, materiality and (in varying degrees of intensity) environmental engagement. Natural cycles, the time measured for human life, social development and evolution - these different concepts of the flow of time are auxiliary schemes by which we define the current state and look for another perspective. Stress period emphasizes the theme of physicality, resources, energy and social inequalities.
